Alex Easton MLA is stunned at the state that the footpaths in Main Street in Bangor have been left in.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“ I am totally stunned after the council spends millions of pounds developing our footpaths in Main Street that TNI have allowed some other body to come in and dig up the pavements and then to replace the new paving with a lump of tarmac. The work to our town centre cost a lot of money and took a long time to do and it is unacceptable for any authority to think they can replace like with like. The council must insure that TNI have this paving restored to its original state and that nobody must be allowed to leave it as a patch work quilt, this is an utter disgrace.”
