Alex Easton MLA has contacted the DRD to tell them to tackle the weeds in the alleyways of Rathgill Estate.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I was rather shocked after going on a walk about with Karen Sullivan from the Rathgill Community Association to see the state of the weed growth along the alleyways at the rear of the resident’s homes. This is totally unacceptable that these public pathways are allowed to get into such a state”

“I am today calling on the Housing Executive and the DRD to collectively work together to remove these weeds either manually or by spraying. This is a safety mater as a resident could quite easily slip on the vegetation, I want the best for the residents of Rathgill Estate and I am determined that DRD and the Housing Executive provide that.”
