Alex Easton MLA has today called for Council to help TNI with Grass cutting along the Bangor Ring Road and other areas.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“We are all aware that TNI are pleading poverty, and are unable to cut the grass which is leading to many areas looking very untidy and are causing problems for motorists whilst driving. One solution would be for the new Council to allow their staff to help out and at least does one grass cut across key areas of North Down for example the Ring Road and the main Road from Bangor to Belfast. I am today calling on TNI and the Council to use their imagination, and work together and agree even as a one off a joint approach to allow the Council to use their equipment to cut the grass along our main roads to alleviate the pressure that TNI are under and to also make North Down look neat and tidy again, and more importantly for the safety of our drivers.”
