ALEX EASTON MLA CONDEMNS BURGLARY AT BALLYHOLME PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

Alex Easton MLA has condemned a burglary at the Ballyholme Presbyterian church at Ballyholme.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is a despicable crime to see a local church that does so much for the local community having been targeted in this way. To break into a church no matter the Religious denomination is an attack on the whole community and is totally wrong. I would appeal for any witnesses to come forward to the PSNI so those involved can be brought before the courts. This sort of behaviour is unacceptable and I would appeal for those involved to have a good look at them and return the money to the Church!”

Alex Easton MLA has today warned the public to be vigilant after the discovery of a scamming device at Springhills Bangor Tesco Store.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“It is shocking that in a shopping centre that we all use from time to time that someone has tried to scam the public at a well-used ATM at Tesco’s at Springhill. A big well done to the persons who spotted the device and reported it to the PSNI. I would urge the public to be extra vigilant at all ATMS, because if one ATM had been used for scamming then there may be others in the Bangor area. I would also urge anyone who has used the Tesco ATM at Springhill to check their bank accounts for any unauthorised spending and report this to their bank and the PSNI.”

Alex Easton MLA has today called on Housing Executive to sort out the fencing at Willowbrook.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This has been an on-going issue for years and I was rather dismayed by the state of the Housing Executives fencing in the area which is a mess with huge gaps and most of the actual fencing missing and fallen down. It has not been maintained and is no use to the safety or residents living in Willowbrook in its current dangerous state. The fence is ugly and unsightly and the Housing executive needs to invest in replacing the fencing and more importantly fix it for the safety of the residents of Willowbrook which is the priority.”

ALEX EASTON MLA BLASTS NORTH DOWN FB SINN FEIN TERRORIST POSTER.

North Down MLA Alex Easton said, “I was messaged privately by a concerned voter in my area last night and I went to the North Down Sinn Fein page myself to find this disturbing picture.

Sinn Fein must explain why IRA pictures, which are clearly added to a picture alongside their Council candidate Kieran Maxwell was posted on their Facebook page? This is not in any way humorous particularly for the innocent victims who suffered at the hands of IRA terrorists.

Kieran Maxwell must also explain if he supports the posting of this picture and indeed the glorification of terrorism?

Last night’s social media post was in bad taste and wrong given that we are in 2019, when any form of promotion for terrorism should not be common place.
