Alex Easton MLA has welcomed the reduction in the speed limit from 60 to 50mph on the A2 Groomsport Bypass.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is a welcome development to see the reduction in the speed limit from 60mph to 50mph has come into force and that there is now the signage placed along the A2 from the Groomsport roundabout to Covebay Groomsport. I along with others have being calling for this reduction for several years and I would praise the efforts of all involved in lobbying for this and for improving the safety of the A2 going passed Groomsport Village which will hopefully improve safety for pedestrians and drivers.”
