Alex Easton MLA and the Beechfield Residents Association have today welcomed the installation of much needed bus shelters in Beechfield and Ashfield Estate, Donaghadee.
Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:
“This is great news for the residents of both Beechfield and Ashfield estate in Donaghadee, with two new bus shelters being installed as part of the Areas at Risk programme through DSD and in partnership with the Housing Executive and the Beechfield Residents Association.”
”This has been a long time in coming, and it helps to improve the lives of residents in Beechfield and Ashfield as we continue under the Areas at Risk Programme to improve Beechfield and make the lives of residents better. There is a regular bus route through Beechfield and Ashfield and there has never been a shelter, this now provides two brand new bus shelters to be able to shelter in and wait for the bus service to arrive. I would thank all that have taken part in this project and we now work towards out other goals.”
