Alex Easton MLA has today warned the PSNI and Council to get on top of the Anti-Social behaviour which has started again in the Ashbury and Silverbirch areas.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I warned in 2015 that we would have to look at this issue again, and I have been proved correct. Anti-Social behaviour has taken off again in the Silverbirch and Ashbury area with youths making residents lives a misery with stones being thrown at resident’s windows. Anti-Social behaviour ruins people’s lives and is totally unacceptable and I am calling on the PSNI and Council Anti-Social behaviour team to get ton top of this before it escalates again into months of terror for residents as in previous occasions. I warned the measures put in place in 2015 were not enough, and that the council by voting not to take action with the lower end of Linear Park was a mistake. I would urge residents to call into the PSNI, and make sure they ask for an incident number and hopefully we can get this nipped in the bud.”
