Alex Easton MLA was delighted to hear of another stand of funding being announced by the DUP DSD Minister Nelson McCausland for £200,000 towards two health and well being projects in Kilcooley, Bangor.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“This is yet again another example of the community working in partnership with government agency’s to deliver projects, designed to help family’s become healthier with help being provided for Pre- Natal Care, Healthy living, creating programs that will help address mental health issues, physical health and general wellbeing of residents.”

“This type of joined up working approach with the SE Trust, Kilcooley Community Forum and DSD will hopefully go a long way to addressing health issues for the residents of Kilcooley and hopefully beyond, and demonstrates by working together we can deliver for the PUL Community.
