Alex Easton MLA has expressed disbelief that a lift in Bangor Hospital has been broken for 7 weeks.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA:

“I am disappointed to hear from family’s who have been unable to use the lift at Bangor Hospital because it has been broken for 7 weeks. I find it incredible that it has been seven weeks since the lift at Bangor Hospital has been in operational order. This has made it difficult for some elderly residents to visit relatives on the GP Ward. I intend to write to the Chief Executive of the SE Trust to ask why it is taking so long, and if the SE Trust could speed the process up to have the lift at Bangor Hospital fixed as a matter of urgency so that relatives who may be elderly or disabled can have access to the GP Ward without having to negotiate stairs, I believe in this day and age that it should not take so long to fix a lift!”
