Alex Easton MLA was deeply angered at the dumping that has occurred at Crochan Court, Rathgill Estate, Bangor.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said:

“I have been left flabbergasted at the amount of dumping that has occurred at the rear of Crochan Court, Rathgill. This dumping is deeply unwelcomed by the local community and is an act of unwanted dumping which is polluting the local community, and an act of environmental vandalism.”

“This act of dumping is an act of sheer laziness, which has seen someone who couldn’t make the effort to take it to the local civic amenity site which is less than half a mile away at Balloo. It means that the Council and Housing Executive have to investigate who dumped the rubbish, and it also means that tax payer’s money will have to be used to remove the rubbish. This is totally unacceptable to the residents of Rathgill. And I would urge anyone who knows who is responsible to report it to the Council. In the meantime it has been reported to the local Council and Housing Executive with a view to having the rubbish cleaned up.”
